How to Draw Scott Pilgrim | Drawing Lesson

Hey everyone and welcome back to the club. Today i’ll be showing you how to draw Scott Pilgrim please make sure you subscribe to our
channel because we’re posting new lessons seven days a week so let’s get
started going to start with the eyebrows starting from that went wrong angle line
going towards the center of the face from here we’re gonna leave a little gap
and draw the exactly thing flipped over on the right side start from the inside and going out from
these ends we’re just going to draw an angle by going up towards the center of
the head now on the ends of these eyebrows and draw an angle line and then
we’re going to take this point and draw a line straight in but being a little
overlap on the inside so you have a little bit of overhang there do the same
thing on the right side going up now we’re going to color the eyebrows in
black right now that we got the eyebrows let’s
go ahead and draw in the big round eyes we’re going to take the eyes underneath
the eyebrow starting on the left side would still come over hang here is drawn
big sort of like a circle tucked in underneath the eyebrow let’s do the same thing on the right
side starting from the inside working our way down and then out to the top and
they’re going to draw on the people and the people are quite big so we’re just
going to be a little bit of space around the outside of the I circling around
will call this all in black do the same thing on the right side so
making that little space all the way around and called that in black we’re going to give a tiny little note
so in between the eyes not the bottom just slightly higher than the bottom of
the eyes and draw a straight line across the middle and if I mouth going to give
a big grin so from the bottom of each I just going to draw a curve going down
and then back up and on the ends we’re just going around them out round
up the corners of the mouth it will connect those two points with a
curve coming down to the bottom back up on the right now he was going to split
the T so little we should go straight line going down we
don’t work our way towards the left first drawing three lines across and
three lines across on the right and we’re calling the ends in black and
white gas on the end will come up with a black now we’re going to draw the outside
perimeter of the face so on other side of the I just going to move over a
little bit and draw a card . down and just around the house just leaving a little bit of space
around the bottom of the mouth and going up on the side of the head we have a little area of the hair bags
that come across starting up here we’re going to drop one curve going down to
that point we will occur up around the eyebrow going to go and do it over that
curve going to go down to the eyebrow and want to reverse the current going up the opposite direction then we drove one
bank to be done in the middle here so we draw a curve going down towards the
center of the forehead will curve that back up now we’re going to switch
directions we go out towards the right just about that I grout and going back
in now here I’m just going to draw a little bang comin down I’m just going to pull that up like that
you’re here i’m going to draw in the outside perimeter of the hair so here on
the side of the head I would draw a curve going all the way
around to the side of the head I’m gonna be there in the ear and behind
yourself here it’s going to tuck the ear in behind
here actually draw the same thing on the right side wall starting up here come around it’s going to draw a little
curve on inside just to show a little bit here detail inside will draw a little bit on
the upset as well from here draw a little hair flick out three out here
we’re going to bring that back in and i’m just going to draw the curve for the
top of the head right about you have stopped on the side here going to draw
so hair strands coming out so right about there and do a little flick going
up and coming back down we draw a large one so this side of all
the hair sort of brushed over to the side so I can draw a large hair strand .
and pull that back in now I’m going to pull the hair down go down like this in
will draw one more step and coming out and tuck that in behind the ear now let’s draw the hair that sticks out
in behind the head so right underneath this year here was
going to draw a car going out we’re going to draw this a few times its
curving out and back in one tiny one will attack that in underneath the head let’s take that and do the same if they
flipped over on the right side so under this year is going to fix the
hair road going back in out in out and pull them right into me at the head go ahead and go to the center of the
body i’m going to draw the color for the shirt so right here underneath in the middle
of the body of the head i’m just going to our current like this for the neck
and it was going to trace that around for the collar of his t-shirt now from here at me draw two angled
lines coming down to the bottom of the jacket the jacket we’ve drawn out about here so I’m
excited and colored here going on a straight angle line going out towards
the left and then we’ll do an angle line going out towards right equal link on
both sides we’re going to draw in the color so
right underneath his hair to draw an angle like this I would do the same
thing on the right side so I’m just going to bounce back and forth just to
make sure that I’m balancing this out from this point the curve right in to
this line and on the right side as well now we’re going to draw the sides of the
coat so just under here I’m gonna be this color started here on
an angle out so it gets a little water as it gets to the bottom of the coat but
from here we’re going to curve it out how to stop a little bit higher than
this . here let’s do the same thing on right side is
occurring out we’ll take those two points and draw a
curved line going into the inside of the jacket on both sides like that the struggles of pockets so up here is
going to draw an angle i’m coming in and draw a straight line going down and it
will curve back to the outside of the jacket from here I’m going to draw an
angle on in and pull that up to the set of the jacket there right in the middle
of just going to draw a straight line going down to do the same thing on this
side so angle line along coming down and will curve that to the side of the
jacket from this corner to come down and pull that back up and draw a straight
line coming down up in the middle of the jacket is a little priest so we’re just
going to draw a curve going across and across on the right side and we’re going
to draw in the bottom of this t-shirt so it’s a little bit higher than the actual
bottom of the jacket so right here i’ll draw her not to write it would someone
draw some wrinkles across the bottom of the shirt so i’m going to draw a couple
cars one curve going down and one curve going up like that all right from here let’s go ahead and
draw in some arms so underneath the caller was going to
draw an angle line going out on both sides this is for
the upper shoulders we’re going to drop the arms going
straight down and go straight down on both sides and then i’m going to do a
little almost like a sideways V so we didn’t overlap and do a little bit like
that do the opposite on the right side this
is for the little wrinkle in between the forearm and the upper arm here from here
going to draw in the arms clean out into fists like this but going to start from
the bottom and work my way around we’re going to be overlapping the faders some
right here so I imagine they’ll be here out comes the arm here so right here i’m
standing on a curve curve going out towards the edge of the knuckle and
occur up for the backside of the knuckles going to go up and straight
line now we’re going to curve the first
figure now there’s going to be a series of figures that go across this way so what I’m going to do is draw an angle
like this we got her and start over last it and I’m going to repeat this three
times until i have four fingers and so I got pinky hear now from here I’m going
to draw a straight line and pull this back ok so this is the one finger do over
that and draw a little bracket like that just to finish off the finger there up
here and draw the meat of the hand understand drying curve like this you want to draw the thumb in here so
i’m going to draw a line to the tip of the thumb and curving rounding that off
in behind the figures and then right in here i’m just going to draw a little
sort of rectangle sideways from here i was going to go to this meeting a hand Paul I’m ready to that little be shape
and up here draw a curve for the cuff of the sleep we draw the exact same thing flipped
over on this side okay so we’re gonna basically just mirror everything that
we’ve done on the left over on the right starting up here and draw a curve going
down then curve up to the back of the hand draw a straight line going up equal
length now we’re going to draw in that first finger curve going up now we’re
going to draw a series of fingers in an angle this way drawing that line curving straight a
little curve straight or curved and then the final pinky drawing this curve now
going down and then this little bracket on the end and we draw the meat of the
finger of the hand right there and then right from this be we’ll just pull it right into the wrist
and will draw the cuss coupling just like that this drawing a thumb up here and draw an
angle line Irving to the tip of the thumb and pull
that in behind the fingers to throw that little rectangle right inside there ok now let’s get into the lower torso so
we’re done here is lower torso is quite short so it’s pretty close to the bottom
of the shirt here so we’re going to start with a straight line going across
the middle like this imagine the center here would take the
left side just angle line curving out towards the left and the line carving
out towards the right in the middle here we’re just going to draw on the fly so
we’re about to purple line side by side of a gap at the bottom and close that
off for the pockets let’s go to a little curves on these two corners like that go ahead and draw the legs the thighs
coming out down towards the legs so what I’ll do is I’m going to do it
all back here to draw a straight angle line towards the inside of both needs
all the tops of the legs up here are in 20 appear with Kurt in 20 now if we’re here i want to draw a
little wrinkle so here like i did with the are going to draw a little angle
like that tangled up and pull that in from here do
not overlap curve down on the left and curved down the right to equal length now let’s draw the front of the legs
over here i’m going to current outward so it gets wider at the base of the leg
and the same thing on the right side now we are currently closed . so you see
that the outside line little higher than the inside want to curve in like that
sounds like that now to finish off the feet very simply
going to take that outside . and kicked it to that point there with a really
rounded curveball second global going around like this do the same thing on the right side
coming out putting that back in going to start by drawing the sole of the shoe we’re gonna get some cool sneakers stuck
here turn around like this do the same thing
on the right side coming around now i’m going to draw the toe cap on the outside
of the foot draw a curve the curve on the right as well and long at oh we’re
just going to go and draw a couple little curvy lines like this curve is
coming from the tip of the toe in towards the back of that toe cap and
then up here in drawing bases so what I’m gonna do is I’m just on the outside
stepping in John angle line leave a gap and draw another angle line and then in
here to draw a couple Lisa’s going across let’s do the same thing here so on the
outside of the foot will draw an angle line in here drawing the line and then just a couple
of places going across the final step is adding the first color in behind the
head and the body so what is it the series is jagged edges going all the way
across starting up here about i hight going to
draw a series of little curves and it looks like this and it can be
very size and shape so some are bigger summer little bit longer and we’ll pull
it right in behind that shoulder do the same thing on this side so her out try to get the same volume on both sides
want to make sure that doesn’t look too lost sided pull that in just like that
and that’s pretty much it. there we have it there’s scott pilgrim. I
hope you enjoyed this lesson. We want to thank you for watching and we’ll see you
again soon.
