Design Recruitment Agency Freelance – An Introduction

– So today as a designer, you have a variety of ways to work. You can work full work
full time as an employee, you can be a Solo freelancer
and manage your own clients. You can be freelance through, Design Recruitment Agencies
and work on location. Or you can set up your own design agency, with your own employees. Now for those of you that don’t know, I’m a freelance designer. And for the past six years, I have been working in the city of London, working with recruitment agencies. In my experience, I have worked with over
30 different studios, and worked on a wide variety of projects. From one week to 12 months. I’ve worked with big studios, small studios, start ups
and small businesses, and I’ve seen it all. I’ve seen the old ways, and I have seen the new ways. I’ve worked with the most experienced, and the least experienced. I’ve seen the best, and
I’ve seen the worst. I’ve met some really good practitioners, and not so good practitioners. In this time, I have learnt a huge amount
about being freelance, with Design Recruitment Agencies, and gained an incredible
amount of experience. Now, there is a lot of
information here on YouTube about being solo freelance, managing your own clients,
your own business, and what to charge and so on. But not much about being Design Recruitment Agency freelance. Now Design Recruitment Agency freelance, is actually a really cool
way to work as designer, if you can get into it. For me, Design Recruitment
Agency freelance, has been one of the best
things I have ever done, and it has completely
transformed my career. So I have decided, to put
together a series of videos, to discuss Design
Recruitment Agency freelance, with the aim of sharing what
I have learnt, my experience, how this has transformed my career, and how it works, to show you another way of
working as a freelance designer, and how you can get into it. In this series, I’m going to be covering
